Well. In general, buying links is something that is frowned upon. But I am very surprised that many top SEOs still recommend buying links as one of the tops ways to gain momentum in the race to the top of the search engines. The fact of the matter is that there are ways for companies to buy links without getting caught, so in essence unless you are an SEO purist, you won’t mind buying links that will not get you in trouble. I personally think that getting links through testimonials, linkbaiting campaigns, competitions, and from the affiliates is a much better idea, but buying links is more common than some pretend it to be.
